Travis works hard to make its trailers as durable as possible while giving customers the benefit of a lighter weight aluminum material, and that applies to its Wave Aluminum Bottom Dump trailers. They weigh as little as 9,650 lbs. and are designed to be aerodynamic; both of these traits lead to higher payload capacities and lower fuel costs. The hopper opening on the Travis Wave is 19 feet at the top, and the aluminum gate measures 106 x 50 inches. The standard model has a maximum capacity of 24 cubic yards and can support different operating weights depending on the exact configuration.
The Travis Alumatech seamless half round aluminum trailer is durable, strong, and—perhaps most importantly—lightweight. The body length ranges from 24 to 39 feet, but even the longest model only weighs 8,892 lbs., which translates into more capacity for hauling more materials. The Alumatech also has an INTRAAX Air Ride Tandem suspension with a 50,000-lb. capacity and an axle width of 102 inches. Depending on the configuration you choose, the capacity of the trailer ranges from 24.4 cubic yards for a 24-foot trailer with a 57-inch side height, up to 46.7 cubic yards for a 39-foot trailer with a 63-inch side height.
The Travis Vertex line of trailers is incredibly flexible in terms of configurations and applications. The trailer itself is available in frameless, frame-type, or quarter-frame setups with a tandem, tri-axle, quad-axle, or spread-axle configurations, just to name a few possibilities. All Travis Vertex trailers are built with heavy-duty, lightweight aluminum, and are available as live floor or tipper trailers in addition to the standard model. These trailers are available in body lengths ranging from 22 feet up to 40 feet and have INTRAAX air ride suspensions as well as 25,000-lb. capacity axles.
